The Wayne County Medical Society of Southeast Michigan (WCMSSM) celebrated its 177th Annual Business Meeting in a virtual format, bringing members together to honor the organization’s legacy while embracing its future. The meeting featured inspiring remarks from national leaders, recognized outstanding contributions to clinical science and public health, and reaffirmed WCMSSM’s enduring commitment to supporting physicians and improving the health of communities across Southeast Michigan.

May 21, 2025 – Detroit Golf Club
The 176th Annual Business Meeting of the Wayne County Medical Society of Southeast Michigan (WCMSSM) was held on May 21, 2025, at the beautiful Detroit Golf Club. Society members and guests gathered for an evening of reports, special awards, and celebration.
Dr. Latonya Riddle-Jones presided over the meeting and was honored for her successful tenure as president. She was thanked for her dedicated leadership over the past year.

The evening concluded with the induction of Dr. Gaurav Sharma as the 142nd president of the Wayne County Medical Society of Southeast Michigan. We look forward to his leadership in the coming year.
