The WCMSSM Public Health Conference is a gathering hosted in partnership with Wayne State University School of Medicine and community leaders, addressing the most pressing public health issues facing Michigan physicians and their patients.

More than 200 leaders from healthcare, public health, government, academia, and community organizations came together through Wayne State University and the Wayne County Medical Society to address the impact of federal social safety-net cuts and develop collaborative solutions. These leaders from across Michigan gathered to turn data into action, advancing policy and community solutions to strengthen health and social supports to protect Michigan’s most vulnerable residents.
